The “Solar Roof” S&P Bakery Factory Energy Saving Project involves installing solar roof panels of 510 kW on the factory roof area of 2,700 m2 to generate electricity at 720,000 units per year which can reduce the carbon footprint of the business sector at 390 tons CO2 per year or equivalent to planting 15,000 trees. It is estimated to decrease electricity cost by 90,550 USD per year.
