Parley Air Strategy: AVOID | INTERCEPT | REDESIGN
In April 2015, Adidas and Parley for The Oceans partnered to help end marine plastic pollution.
In 2016, we launched our first performance products created with Parley Ocean Plastic™.
Parley Ocean Plastic™ is made from recycled waste, intercepted before it reaches the ocean from beaches and coastal communities. In 2017, we continued launching performance products and we also initiated run for the oceans.
Highlights
- China ran 2,481,861 KM for Parley for the ocean.
- Over 58,818 full marathons put together.
- That is our way of using the power of sport to affect positive change in the world, showing our commitment one mile at a time.
- Working with Joy Run, we amassed crew 184,703 runners online and offline runners for Parley Run for the ocean between 17-24 Jun 2017.
